  • Garden State Equality

    Garden State Equality lifts up the diverse voices of LGBTQ+ communities through education and advocacy to advance the movement for equality in New Jersey and nationally. We work tirelessly to ensure the communities we serve experience lived equality.

    Our services include advocacy, policy work, and trainings. We work to address safe environments for youth, improvement of health services that meet LGBTQ+ community needs, and respectful treatment of seniors.

    Garden State Equality is a member of the Equality Federation.

  • The PROUD Gender Center of New Jersey

    The PROUD Gender Center of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick and the Babs Siperstein PROUD Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville offer a variety of services for LGBTQ+ individuals, with a focus on multi-disciplinary care. The team includes family medicine physicians, infectious disease specialists, gynecologists, urologists, endocrinologists, plastic surgeons and otolaryngologists to deliver specialized care for LGBTQ+ patients.

  • Trans Affirming Alliance

    The mission of the Trans Affirming Alliance (TM) is to partner with LGBTQ+ centers and projects to deliver within the partner organizations' existing facilities, services for transgender and gender diverse communities.

  • HBP RAIN

    HBP RAIN Foundation d/b/a/ Essex LGBT Reaching Adolescents in Need (RAIN) Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides emergency shelter, transitioning housing, and permanent supportive housing services to address the emergent need of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) young adults between the ages 18-26 experiencing crisis leading to homelessness.

  • LGBT Senior Housing and Care

    LGBT Senior Housing and Care provides training and consulting, in housing, healthcare, homecare, business and professional service providers to create and implement models of best practice for LGBTQ+ older adults.

  • GLSEN

    "The Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network GLSEN strives to ensure that each member of every school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or expression. Since homophobia and heterosexism undermine a healthy school climate, we work to educate teachers, students and the public at large about the damaging effects these forces have on youth and adults alike."

  • Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey

    RCINJ has been implementing inclusive efforts and a series of discussions focusing on transgender and LGBTQIA+ wellbeing. They offer virtual educational webinars and workshops for both community and professional groups. They frequently host panel discussions and presentations by cancer specialists, healthcare professionals, and survivors.

  • The Pride Center

    "The mission of The Pride Center is to provide a safe and welcoming space for all individuals who identify as LGBTQ to find support, educational tools, health and education resources, and social opportunities within a community of acceptance. Comprehensive programming in support of this mission includes lesbian, gay, trans and family resources, social groups and free HIV testing."

  • GAAMC: The Gay Activist Alliance in Morris County

    GAAMC is a not-for-profit volunteer-run organization that provides social, educational, and outreach programs. GAAMC also offers opportunities for individuals to become politically active on issues related to the GLBTI community. Our intent is to maintain a positive, healthy, respectful and supportive environment in a safe space.

    The New Jersey LGBT Chamber of Commerce advances the business interests of LGBT and allied professionals in the tri-state area. We promote the economic growth and development of our members by providing resources and opportunities for education, networking, and community engagement.

  • HiTOPS

    HiTOPS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that fosters strong and healthy young people of all identities by providing inclusive and youth-informed sex education and LGBTQI+ support for young people throughout New Jersey.

  • EdgeNJ

    The mission of EDGE New Jersey is to respond compassionately and responsibly to those living with HIV, those at risk, and the LGBTQ+ communities by providing supportive services, housing opportunities, prevention strategies, and education to enhance the community we serve.

  • PROUDLY Me!

    PROUDLY Me! is a free education and support group program to help the transgender and nonbinary confirming community members by creating a safe space of learning through peer support and resources. The sessions are hosted in a caring and understanding environment to discuss all available resources for the transgender community. Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month from 6-8 p.m. in RWJUH's auditorium.

  • Orgulloso Grupo Latinx

    Orgullose Grupo Latinx is a Spanish-speaking support group serving the Latinx & Spanish-speaking transgender and non-binary community. Meetings are held the third Friday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital’s Auditorium.

  • PROUD Transitions Family Support Group

    PROUD Transitions Family Support Group is a support group for any parent, family member, or ally who has a family member who identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community.

  • Hudson Pride Center Rainbow Elders of New Jersey

    Rainbow Elders of New Jersey is a contact, information and support group whose mission is to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ older adults. In partnership with two organizations— The Hudson Pride Center in Jersey City and SAGE: A national LGBTQ+ organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for LGBTQ+ older adults. Meetings are virtual on Tuesdays from 6 to 7:30 and on Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30.

  • Out Montclair

    Out Montclair is a nonprofit organization created to raise awareness and provide support and solidarity for the LGBTQIA+ community of Montclair. They offer educational and charitable activities and events to promote inclusivity and equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, non-binary and gender-fluid youth and adults. Additionally, they are a safe space where the Montclair community and allies can come together and celebrate who we are.
