  • The Door

    The Door’s mission is to empower young people to reach their potential by providing comprehensive youth development services in a diverse and caring environment.

    The Door’s members are truly diverse – Black, Asian, Latino, gay, straight, immigrant, in foster care, out-of-school, or out-of-work, our young people represent a true slice of New York City life. We take pride in that diversity and we aim to reflect it in all of our programs.

    In addition to health, legal, education, counseling, and career services, The Door offers programming and services geared towards our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, or Questioning (LGBTQ) members.

  • The Trevor Project

    The Trevor Project aims to end suicide among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning young people. They aim to achieve this through a core group of programs including: Crisis Services, Peer Support, Research, Public Education, and Advocacy.

  • HiTOPS

    HiTOPS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that fosters strong and healthy young people of all identities by providing inclusive and youth-informed sex education and LGBTQ+ support for young people throughout New Jersey.

  • Institute For Personal Growth

    IPG is a psychotherapy and counseling service with offices in Jersey City, NJ, Highland Park, NJ and Freehold, NJ. In addition to individual, child, family, marriage and couples counseling, they are the largest provider of AASECT-certified sex therapy services in the tri-state area with specialized services for transgender and gender non-conforming youth.

  • Herrick-Martin Institute For LGBTQIA+ Youth

    Through a comprehensive package of direct services and referrals, Hetrick-Martin seeks to foster healthy youth development. Hetrick-Martin’s staff promotes excellence in the delivery of youth services and uses its expertise to create innovative programs that other organizations may use as models.

  • Family Acceptance Project

    The Family Acceptance Project® is a research, intervention, education and policy initiative to prevent health and mental health risks and to promote well-being for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer-identified (LGBTQ) children and youth, including suicide, homelessness, drug use and HIV — in the context of their families, cultures and faith communities.
